Comic Type Update!

Thanks to a number of things happening and getting in the way, I’ve had to push the release of Stark City Limits back a few times. But life is settling back to something in the vague area of stability and I can safely announce that the comic will be going up very soon. November 11th, to be exact!

This is a comic that I intend to print at some point, and posting at least the pages of the first issue as I make them will drive me to actually work on it. Therefore, there will not be an actual update schedule. Other than you will get 28 or more pages between now and March.

It will be going up over at http://starkcitylimits.com

Updates and Such

Not even sure if anyone is actually following this site. But hey, this is progress. I’ve never actually managed to make it to the “maintainance” stage. Just a constant stream of re-designs.

I am gearing up my comic, Stark City Limits, to go live in about a month. And in the spring I intend to market the hell out of it as a printed product. So I will be attending Stumptown Comics Fest for the first time ever as an artist and not just a fan! The first hurdle, however, is paying for a table. So I’m running a commissions drive. Commissions will probably remain open until the event itself, unless I get overwhelmed. You can find info by clicking the “commissions” link in the upper right!

Also, there is a new and silly image in the gallery for your enjoyment!

All the best,
Sara

Post-Con Euphoria

Wonder Northwest wrapped up last night and I’m still in that state of “did that really happen?”

I got to meet a ton of awesome people, and shared some awesome artist alley space with the amazingly talented Dan DePaolo, who did a lot of art for the con banners and badges and the like. The music in the dealer’s room was amazing and the people who stopped by were awesome.

I’ve got to give awesome thanks to Tony the Jedi who not only came to my table three separate times to get different things, but also brought his friends over.

This was my first time with a table, so I was a little scared. But the sheer rush from seeing people’s reactions to my work was…wow, I’m running out of words here. Amazing. Awesome. Epic. It was all of those things in one. And the people that I approached to personally give them something made my day with their reactions.

But above all else, this weekend would not have been possible without the amazing effort put forth by Manny McIvor and Billy Galaxy. I was utterly blown away by the sheer amount of everything these guys poured into this event.

And finally, I will be putting together an Etsy store to sell the stickers I had at the event, plus others. There were a ton of characters I just didn’t have time to draw. Stay tuned for I will be posting that at a later time!
